I see patients everyday who have been told that their thyroid is normal based on a single test called TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone). The problem with relying on this single test is that it misses a large percentage of thyroid issues. My approach is to run a full thyroid panel (which includes TSH, free T3, free T4, and TPO-antibodies) in order to get a full picture of how the thyroid is working. It’s also important to look at other hormones which affect thyroid function such as cortisol and estrogen.

How many sessions do I need?
Some individuals will notice the appearance of their skin improves after one treatment. However, significant lasting results usually occur after 6 or 8 treatments. A full treatment series includes 12 weekly treatments. The effects can last several years with regular maintenance treatments.

Week 2– 2nd Face-to-face consultation (60 minutes) to discuss a plan tailored to your needs including: dietary, supplement and lifestyle recommendations, a meal plan and food log review
Week 3– Weekly check-in (by email), food log review and feedback

Week 5– 3rd Face-to face consultation (30 minutes) to evaluate your progress and make adjustments to keep you on track to meet your goals. New meal ideas will be provided.
